About the book…

My Back-To-Basics Business Bible‘ is a must-read A-Z guide for anyone in need of a confidence-boost when setting up a business, becoming an entrepreneur, or building a start-up.

Those early days in a new business can be a steep challenge, and in this powerful little pocket-book, fitness entrepreneur, Neeta Oza, shares an indispensable mini-guide to how she helps herself during times of doubt, and times of delight.
A must-read that you can dip in and out of without taking up too much of your precious time, this little book will lift up everyone who needs some words of comfort and advice during the tumultuous early days of entrepreneurship.

My Back-To- Basics Business Bible is packed with pearls of wisdom the author has learnt from many people, near and far. Starting her own fitness business changed Neeta’s life in many amazing ways, and she is constantly learning from this journey; all day, every day!

Written as part of her own life journey, this powerful little book is packed with simple tips, ideas and supportive words, to potentially turn your life around.

It is part of a Mini Mindset Series designed to help people at various stages of their lives, relationships and careers.

Published in a nifty pocket sized packerback edition by the fantastic Hashtag Press,‘My Back To Basics Business Bible’ is out now from Neeta Oza and is the second in her series of books which are filled with positivity, affirmations and advice,

A brilliant companion to Neeta’s ‘My Micro Mini Mindset Manual’,this proves that ‘basic’ does not mean lacking in detail, thought, action and deed. Coming from a place of knowledge , in having set up her own businees, Neeta encourages with every page based on personal and professional experience.

An A-Z might seem a linear guide , however, Neeta reflectes and directs back to other parts of the book which complement each other, whilst getting to Z has the reader flipping back to A for inspiration.
It is a wonderfully constructed manual that reminds you of what you can bring to the business table, rather than having all the answers-part of this is in acknowldeging we will stumble BUT we also have the ability to catch ourselves and stride forward in a meaningful manner.
Reflective of her teachings, Neeta gently encourages those who are in a business of any kind or those about to start to be mindful, grateful and most of all kind to our ourselves. For without acknowledging and moving through these lessons, we we will find it diffiuclt to succeed as people or in the world of business.
The most important aspect of this book, for me, is not sacrificing yourself to a higher goal that other people may place more value on than you-you are your brand and your brand is you therefore if you nourish yourself and give back to those who nourish your business, you will succeed. Also, what is important is defining what you understand by ‘business’ and ‘success’ are vital! One person;s success may be to sell one handmade item a month, another’s may be to sell 20!
Whichever way into business you choose, and regardless or the sphere in which you work, with achievable guidelines, regular breaks and recognition of your support network, it is possible to succeed on a meaningful level.
I thoroughly enjoyed it and it got me feeling that tingling notion which I had when I started selling handmade items through Etsy-it has taken me from a place where I felt ‘I have tried and gone nowhere’ to thinking ‘maybe I can try again..

About the author..

Neeta wrote her first book at the age of three with coloured paper, crayons and an array of partially-lifelike drawings of her family which always made her Mum laugh. 37 years later, she finally published her first (real) book with Hashtag Press.

In 2000 she joined a gym and feeling the benefits of keeping fit, qualified as a Yoga Instructor in 2011, then a Pilates Instructor in 2017. She vowed at 25 years old during a Saturday night Chinese meal with friends, to stay in the best physical shape once she reached 40; and ever since has been trying to stay in the best mental shape too.

A fourteen minute Law of Attraction YouTube clip changed her life for the better in 2016. This led to her to viewing multiple motivational speakers, and also led her to writing this book. With an ever-expanding love for Health and Wellbeing, Neeta started to delve into the world of Mindset and simple ways to alleviate stress during daily modern life.

Writing always helped her feel creative, and through ‘My Mini-Micro Mindset Manual’ Neeta hopes to inspire and be inspired by anyone interested in maintaining an optimistic outlook during the rollercoaster called life!

  1. Great review and an interesting sounding book (how do you get through so many books do fast? 😁😁😁). I haven’t got a business at the moment, not even a small one, but it’s something I’ve thought about doing. This sounds like it could really help people who, like me, struggle to start and struggle to get motivated after a setback. I like the fact the author’s life changed through a YouTube video, the amazing power of youtube, lol, and of course the person talking on the video.
If I’m honest I do listen/watch some motivational videos myself. They’re part of the reason I’m far more happy positive and calmer, less anxious than I used to be😊

    1. That is so wonderful to hear, Youtibe, like most social media is a double edged sword when it comes to anxiety so this is fabulous to hear that you are have found it so motivational! I got to meet Neeta as part of a local bloggers group thing and she is exactly the same in life as she is in her books, just so positive and with a fabulous attitude. She writes these beautiful little books-3 and counting!-and they are just great to carry with you and keep you on track!
As for the reading…currently I am on a break between uni and starting work so I am reading up a storm, but in my day to day life I read whenever and wherever possible, I don’t go out much and I don’t like to watch hours and hours of tv so I spend hours each night, reading, when most people would watch soaps and such !

      1. She sounds like a great person, it’s so great that you got to meet her 🙂
You definitely have passion for reading and it’s certainly better than watching all those silly soaps and dramas on tv, although I have to admit I watch a few too many shows on tv myself at the moment, lol. I don’t read nearly as often or fast as you do but you inspire me to do even more reading.
Hope you enjoy your break and good luck when you start up working, it must be great to be done with uni but also a little sad 🙂 <3
