Run by writers, podcast creators and general all round bookish enthusiasts Amy and Rosy, Riffraff are my latest obsession!

I first came across them as I was trawling Twitter in a vain effort not to be studying-spoiler, it worked!- and entered a competition they were running for NaNoWriMo.

NaNoWriMo is a month long writing contest of sorts where writers aim to hit 50,000 words during Novemebr-if you follow the Twitter hashtag #NaNoWriMo you will find your writer-ly tribe!

Absolutely thrilled to have won a copy of ‘‘In Our mad and Furious City’ , I messaged Rosy and took a closer look at their site and saw that they were running a month long competition to treat writer/reader types.

Riffraff is basically a write’s paradise, full of an inclusive community vibe,driven by passion from Amy and Rosy, both published authors themselves.

I would urge anyone to check out the events that they have on if you are local to London! Their gallery makes me wish I was closer than Wales…but one day!! Always good to have something to look forward to!
