Over on the Kindle, there are a fair number of Titan series which are available as a taster of what is to come, as well as I think there are entire series of novels as well-I have been digging, there is a lot to get through!
So I thought, as I am bringing this year’s Titan showcase to an end, I would highlight some of them just in case you weren’t aware of them
‘The Man From The Diogenes Club’ by Kim Newman
This collection of ten tales is a great introduction to not only Kim’s work, but also his main series which sees a history twist on the Twentieth century where Dracula gets married to Queen Victoria.
And it only gets better from there on in!
CAN’T ELIMINATE THE IMPOSSIBLE? Send for the man from the Diogenes Club!
The debonair psychic investigator Richard Jeperson is the Most Valued Member of the Diogenes Club, the least-known and most essential branch of British Intelligence. While foiling the plot of many a maniacal mastermind, he is chased by sentient snowmen and Nazi zombies, investigates an unearthly murderer stalking the sex shops of 1970s Soho, and battles a poltergeist to prevent it triggering nuclear Armageddon. But as a new century dawns, can he save the ailing Diogenes Club itself from a force more diabolical still?
Newman’s ten mischievous tales, with cameos from the much-loved characters of the Anno Dracula universe, will entertain fans and newcomers alike!

‘The Madness Of Cthulhu Anthology’ Edited By S.T Joshi.
If you like your horror dark and twisty, this is volume 1 of 2 anthologies which explore the Cthulhu Mythos. It also is a way in before looking at the other Cthulhu based cross overs that Titan publishes. Make sure to check them out!
‘Two Lost Boys’ By L.F Robertson
The first in this author’s trilogy of legal novels featuring death row attorney, Janet Moodies, is available on K.U at the moment as well.
Janet Moodie has spent years as a death row appeals attorney. Over-worked, underpaid, and recently widowed, she’s had her fill of hopeless cases, and is determined that this will be her last. Her client is Marion ‘Andy’ Hardy, convicted fifteen years ago along with his brother Emory of kidnapping, rape and murder of two prostitutes, but Janet discovers a series of errors made by his previous lawyers. Andy may well be guilty of something, but what?
I reviewed the novel previously, here and can highly recommend it.
‘Relics’ by Tim Lebbon
Beneath the surface of our world, mythological creatures and their artifacts still exist—corrupt people pay fortunes
for a sliver of dragon bone, a basilisk’s scale, or an angel’s wing.
Angela Gough is an American criminology student in London whose fiancé Vince disappears, and her investigation leads her into a black market specializing in arcane relics.
She meets Mary Rock, a criminal of mythic status who also wants to find Vince… to kill him. Angela and a growing team of adventurers must stop this horrific trade, yet they face a growing menace as the hunted creatures begin to fight back.
The first in Tim’s incredible trilogy can be found on K.U at the moment, and I would highly recommend checking it out.

‘The Spawn Of Lilith’ by Dana Fredsti
Another trilogy opener (book 2 is available now with number 3 out later this year) and another highly recommended novel from me!
Out of the spotlight, in the darker corners of the studio backlots, Hollywood hides a remarkable secret. Actor or actress, set designer, electrician, best boy, or grip, in la-la land, it pays not to be human. Vampires, succubae, trolls, elementals, goblins, studios hire anyone and anything that can take direction, be discreet, and not eat the extras. The less you know about your agent, the better.
Though only human, stuntwoman and struggling actress Lee Striga is a member of the legendary Katz Stunt Crew. They’re the best in the biz, in part because they can fly, and boast superhuman strength. When Lee lands a job on the movie Pale Dreamer, however, not everyone is following the script. It’s up to her to figure out who – or what – is killing the cast and crew. Especially when Lee goes from stuntwoman to lead role… and the next target.

‘Plague Town: An Ashley Parker Novel’ by Dana Fredsti
Making zero apologies, because I am a big fan of Dana’s , she has another trilogy, this time to do with zombie
creatures and Ashley Parker, the heroine of her own novels.
People are dying. Then they are waking up hungry. In the small university town of Redwood Grove, people are succumbing to a lethal strain of flu. They are dying—but not for long.
Ashley Parker and her boyfriend are attacked by these shambling, rotting creatures that crave human flesh. Their lives will never be the same again. When she awakes Ashley discovers that she is a “wild card”— immune to the virus—and is recruited by a shadowy paramilitary organization that offers her the chance to fight back.
Trained by gorgeous vegan Gabriel, and bonding with her fellow wild cards, Ashley begins to discover skills she never knew she had. As the town falls to ever-growing numbers of the infected, Ashley and her team fight to contain the outbreak—but will they be enough?
‘The Usual Sacrifices’ by Yvonne Navarro
A brand-new Supernatural novel that reveals a previously unseen adventure for the Winchester brothers, from the hit TV series!
Sam and Dean head to Kentucky to investigate a series of unexplained disappearances.
As the brothers start to suspect something far more sinister in the town, and possibly lurking in Mammoth Cave, they realise that someone is determined to protect the town secret – even if it means killing Sam and Dean himself.
One of 9-9!- of the tie-in novels following the adventures of Sam and Dean WInchester are currently available via K.U. This one sounds pretty fun and I will definitely check it out when I have finished the other titles I have borrowed!

‘A Baby’s Bones’ by Rebecca Alexander
The first in the Sage Westfield novels is a gripping murder investigation starring the afore mentioned archaeologist.
Archaeologist Sage Westfield has been called in to excavate a sixteenth-century well, and expects to find little more than soil and the odd piece of pottery. But the disturbing discovery of the bones of a woman and newborn baby make it clear that she has stumbled onto an historical crime scene, one that is interwoven with an unsettling local legend of witchcraft and unrequited love. Yet there is more to the case than a four-hundred-year-old mystery. The owners of a nearby cottage are convinced that it is haunted, and the local vicar is being plagued with abusive phone calls. Then a tragic death makes it all too clear that a modern murderer is at work…

‘The Breath Of God’ by Guy Adams
This novel is one of 3 available on K.U in the Sherlock Holmes series. In ‘The Breath Of God’, detection mixes with witchcraft..
The nineteenth century is about to draw to a close. In its place will come the twentieth, a century of change, a century of science, a century that will see the superstitions of the past swept away. There are some who are determined to see that never happens. A body is found crushed to death in the London snow. There are no footprints anywhere near it. It is almost as if the man was killed by the air itself. This is the first in a series of attacks that sees a handful of London’s most prominent occultists murdered. While pursuing the case, Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson find themselves travelling to Scotland to meet with the one person they have been told can help: Aleister Crowley.
As dark powers encircle them, Holmes’ rationalist beliefs begin to be questioned. The unbelievable and unholy are on their trail as they gather a group of the most accomplished occult minds in the country: Doctor John Silence, the so-called “Psychic Doctor”; supernatural investigator Thomas Carnacki; runic expert and demonologist, Julian Karswell… But will they be enough?
As the century draws to a close it seems London is ready to fall and the infernal abyss is growing wide enough to swallow us all. A brand-new original novel, detailing a thrilling new case for the acclaimed detective Sherlock Holmes

Returning to the Holmesian universe, this is one of a series featuring the memorable nemesis of Holmes, Professor Moriarty!

‘The Vanishing Season’ by Joanna Schaffhausen
The first in 5 Ellery Hathaway novels, this opener is incredibly dark and twisty as the survivor of a serial killer herself hunts down the bad guys-only she does it with a badge.
A chilling tale of suspense for fans of Julia Heaberlin. Fourteen years ago, teenager Ellery Hathaway was victim number seventeen in the grisly murder spree of serial killer Francis Michael Coben. She was the only one who lived.
Now Coben is safely behind bars, and Ellery has a new identity in a sleepy town where bike theft makes the newspapers. But each July for the last three years, locals have been disappearing.
