*Just a note to add that this is an American publication, so some knowledge of substituting yarn may be necessary to get a similar effect to what is achieved by the author*
This is a beautifully made book, with high production values from a publisher who knows their audience. It covers a lot of different projects, all coded with wands so that there is an ‘at a glance‘ recognition of what patterns are for
beginners, intermediate or advanced crocheters.
Covering amigurumi (crocheted in the round toys) such as Dumbledore’s phoenix, Fawkes, Dobby the heroic house elf, and more, clothing -house scarves, Ron’s cardigan, Luna’s pullover-soft furnishings and blankets for babies or grownup crafters who cannot bear to give up their creations!
It is hard to know where to start, there are so many gorgeous products to make , I am personally drawn towards the golden snitch blanket, which is perfect for Christmas. There are no instructions/tutorials included which will teach you how to crochet, however, there are so many tutorials online where you can learn, that honestly, it is worth trying just so that you can get on with the beautiful creations inside.
Practical, handmade goods which are useful whilst also advertising your Potterhead status?
What’s not to love!!!
