You know the feeling only too well-you’ve come home from a long day, feel exhausted, try and parcel out parts of yourself to loved ones, catch up on your admin and then bed. No time for anything, least of all fitness.
It is the last thing you want to be thinking about as you self medicate with food, so I want to say, how about putting down that bar of chocolate(yes you totally deserve it but just listen) and try something a little less intense than a full on session at the gym.
This book is a)pocket sized, b)full of great tips and advice. It is like putting a life coach in your purse/bag/whatever you carry your essentials in.
Life is hard, overqhelming and fitness often takes a back burner until it becomes an insurmountable obstacle and impossible to take on. So follow Neeta’s no nonsene advice and no matter what your aim is-fitting in a dress, losing weight for a holiday or just to raise your fitness aim if you’ve got a regime you have been slacking on. There is no judgement here, just support, and a realisaton that life is challenging. Instead of trying to fit fitness into your life and making it a chore, how about looking at what fitness means to you.
If you have anixety issues, there are exercises and regimes that you can follow at home. Getting up half an hour earlier can give you the time to have a ten minute workout via a Youtube/DVD fitness session as well as 10 minutes to meditate on the coming day. I had totally forgotten how lovely the calm of the house before anyone wakes up feels. And I might not do it every day, but with gentle chiding it is possible to be kind to yourself and say ‘Hey, I did it 3 times this week, that’s ok, going to try for 4 next week!’
These books are about celebration of how it feels to work towards a goal-the goal setting is yours, the encouragent is from Neeta !
About the author…
Neeta wrote her first book at the age of three with coloured paper, crayons and an array of partially-lifelike drawings of her family which always made her Mum laugh. 37 years later, she finally published her first (real) book with Hashtag Press.
In 2000 she joined a gym and feeling the benefits of keeping fit, qualified as a Yoga Instructor in 2011, then a Pilates Instructor in 2017. She vowed at 25 years old during a Saturday night Chinese meal with friends, to stay in the best physical shape once she reached 40; and ever since has been trying to stay in the best mental shape too.
A fourteen minute Law of Attraction YouTube clip changed her life for the better in 2016. This led to her to viewing multiple motivational speakers, and also led her to writing this book. With an ever-expanding love for Health and Wellbeing, Neeta started to delve into the world of Mindset and simple ways to alleviate stress during daily modern life.
Writing always helped her feel creative, and through ‘My Mini-Micro Mindset Manual’ Neeta hopes to inspire and be inspired by anyone interested in maintaining an optimistic outlook during the rollercoaster called life!

Great review! I’m really enjoying this series of pocket sized books, they’re packed with such brilliant tips!
Aren’t they great? There’s another one due at Christmas which is perfect for New Year motivation! Thanks so much Bella for taking the time to comment 🙂
What a cute idea. It is so simple. People like to make everything in the health industry overwhelming and complicated. I like how easy this is to apply and get going.
