What a thrill ride of  a story, full of suspense, whip smart plot twists and a character you really have to work at to get to know. On the surface , Marty is the man who has it all.

Rich, famous nationwide and successful. So who has planted a dead girl in his bathroom? And why? What is he hiding that has engendered such a revenge plot that someone has literally killed to put Marty to rights?

The first person narrative really accentuates the reader’s reaction to what is happening, it really delves inside Marty’s mind, but is he actually telling the truth, or just a version of it?

This bloody brilliant debut thriller is also known as ‘Media Monster’, and I have no hesititaion in recommending it. You are constantly questioning and analysing the story for clues to whether Marty is as innocent as he says he is. It gets you thinking about the concepts of justice and revenge and I highly recommend it ! It makes fine use of OMJ Ryan’s experience of working in the entertainment industry and this adds an air of authenticity to a gripping, compelling book. I am genuinely excited to see where he goes next!

Hailing from Yorkshire, OMJ Ryan worked in radio and entertainment for over twenty years, collaborating with household names and accumulating a host of international writing and radio awards.
