About the book…

This is a cracking, action filled y.a read that I will been keenly pushing on my teens, it starts with a literal bang and the story just continues to race through the pages. It’s enough to give you whiplash!

Rune and Ryder are siblings, and the differences between them set up the tone for the book, Rune is very much in touch with her feelings allowing her to control the side of her that Ryder lets out with wild abandon. Bullying and violence are his stock in trade whilst Rune is looking for a reason why she has this disconnect with others.

She feels the pull to the supernatural and the otherworldly which is why she pings Grey’s radar. But in order to explain himself and his nature to Rune and be totally honest with her, it opens both of the up to the danger that is pursuing him to the world we know.
The time to make a stand is coming…but which side of the war will Rune and Ryder be on?

A thrilling series opener, I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a new obsession. It’s very accessible with a rounded set of chaacters who are given room to breathe, and will hopefully grow in future instalments.

Exploring identity, belonging and finding out who you are is given a fresh spin in Devri Walls world and I am here for it!
